All teaching staff are being supplied with lateral flow test kits on site or to swab at home. This will be offered twice a week on a voluntary basis to identify anyone who has the virus and may be asymptomatic. The result will be available in just 30 minutes.
We encourage all our teachers at Red Box to participate, to support our schools and keep everyone as safe as possible. Teachers will be able to collect kits from local test sites, you can find yours here. Alternatively, you have the option to order online if you aren’t able to pick up. Do not use this service if you have symptoms.
What you need to know:
Staff should continue to be tested at school and take a rapid lateral flow test twice a week (every 3 or 4 days)
Report the rapid lateral flow test results the day you take the test
Positive result/coronavirus symptoms – inform your school and self-isolate immediately
Get a PCR test to confirm the result
