What can we offer?
Should you have any questions regarding a placement or require specialist advice, Red Box will keep in touch. Should you require travel information, we can send directions to the school you will be working at straight to your mobile device. Furthermore, we offer you the chance to settle in and learn more about the school you will be working at with our ‘shadow day’ opportunity for school newcomers.
Whilst we invite all Key Stage 2 teachers who are Qualified elsewhere to apply for our placements, teachers who are qualified in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the United States are encourage to apply for the placements we offer on our site as you will not require any further training having obtained qualified teaching status (QTS).
All Red Box teachers will be required to complete/undergo:
- A face to face interview
- A current DBS or Update Service Registration
- A List 99
- A medical questionnaire
When applying at Red Box, you will also need to present the following original documentation:
- Any previous DBS’s
- An up-to-date C.V. with no gaps
- All relevant teaching certificates or certified copies
- Overseas police check
- A minimum of 2 references from either a head teacher, principal or mentor
- Passport and/or driving license
- Visa
- Proof of address
- Passport sized photo (a photo will also be taken upon registration)
- National Insurance number if applicable
- Teaching Agency (T.A) membership number if applicable. ( All teachers with QTS in the UK will be checked
- A register for proof of qualification and suitability, and that there are no restrictions against them teaching in UK schools)
